Moose Mountain Bus Lines adds a new Prevost H3-45 Sainte-Claire, QC,

 Moose Mountain Bus Lines, based in Regina,
Saskatchewan, has added a 2012 Prevost H3-45 to its fleet of 13 motorcoaches.
Founded in 1958 as southern Saskatchewan’s premier charter and tour operator, Moose Mountain Bus Lines provides local, regional, and national service to destinations throughout Canada and the Continental U.S. The company, with 25 employees, serves a host of school, corporate, and government clients as well as groups planning single or multi-day trips. It also offers an in-house casino tour program with 175 outings per year.

Ed Bourassa, general manager, said that the company will use its newest H3-45 coach primarily in conjunction with a long-term athletic partnership serving the University of Regina. Like any H3-45, this one is ideal for transporting teams (and their copious amounts of gear) in comfort. “We chose the H3-45 because of its quality and curb appeal, he said. “And also because of its comfortable ride—not to mention the dependability and service Prevost is known for.”

The coach is also sure to turn heads as it cruises the highways decked out with eye-popping graphics that feature action photos of U of R sports teams, the Cougars. “Our newest Prevost will bring the university some nice exposure across North America,” Mr. Bourassa noted. “And Moose Mountain will again demonstrate that it’s a company ‘driven to exceed expectations’.”
As for its memorable moniker, he explained that “yes, there is really a Moose Mountain located in the southeastern part of the province.” Many years ago, a government-operated bus line served the area. After service was discontinued, several former drivers decided to buy their own vehicles and keep going. Their operation eventually relocated to Regina and was purchased by the Fehr family, the company’s current owners, who clearly recognized an outstanding opportunity—and a distinctive name—when they saw them.
