A History Provided by Desert West Coach:

Desert West Coach Services, Ltd. has been in business since 1984. It was founded as DeLong Diesel Power. In 1992, the name changed to Desert West Coach Services, Ltd. Originally, the company rebuilt Detroit engines and repaired and serviced GM, MCI and Eagle coaches. In 1990, the company began to establish itself as a motorcoach repair and service center. The company further evolved into a full service establishment, servicing all kinds of coaches and motorhomes, specializing in tour, charter, entertainer and high end bus conversions as well as specialty vehicles and their equipment.

Desert West Coach Service is unique in that they service and repair all of the systems found on modern bus conversions, motorhomes and specialty vehicles, from engine replacement to coach interior work and conversion systems. Our shop and facility can do anything from the most sophisticated electronic work to repairing and rebuilding coaches with various amounts of collision and paint damage.

Desert West Coach Service carries an extensive in stock inventory of parts, and has a full service paint and body repair shop. Desert West Coach Service has a good reputation as a marketer of high end motorcoaches. The company’s unique approach to consignment sales has produced excellent results for hundreds of customers who have had the need to sell their coach.

The company regularly performs repair and services for most all of the bus manufacturers, fleet operators, institutional users and entertainer coaches. Desert West Coach Service is a recommended service facility for companies such as Prevost, MCI, Country Coach, Vantaré, Tiffin, Marathon, Liberty, and many others.

Many of our employees have years of experience in the motorcoach and motorhome industry. Our staff is knowledgeable, friendly & accessible. We have a convenient location with easy access for large coaches. Our coach sales approach is somewhat different from other consignment companies. We only sell by consignment, and all of our sales coaches belong to our customers. Desert West Coach Service is located in the heart of downtown Phoenix. The business is located in the central part of the Valley of the Sun at 1243 S. 7^{th Street.}
Freeway access is very easy. You may get to our location off of Interstate 17 or Interstate 10. You will find us three blocks north of I-17 on 7th Street, on the right-hand side of 7th Street. If you are traveling on Interstate 10, you must turn south on 7th Street and you will find us 1 ¾ miles, ½ block south of Buckeye Road on the east side of 7th Street.
