Liberty Open House:
A Super 'Rally with a Cause'
The Liberty Coach 5th Annual Open
House, the 'Rally for a Cause," was held Super Bowl weekend, with donations
made by Liberty to a charitable organization for each coach sold at the rally.
It was a banner Super Bowl rally,
with 53 coaches in attendance, from '93 Liberties to the new 2006 coaches
fresh in the hands of owners. With over 100 owners on premises, it was a busy
place.
Notable events included the opening
dinner, with a 1950's theme with the King of Rock present in spirit, and some
owners jumped into the action as well, more or less...
The ever present Liberty motorcycle
gang was present, of course, with the preening and polishing of bikes before
and after the bike rides. Shoppers took to the streets of Palm Beach and
surrounding malls, bringing back bags of goodies from local merchants.
No one could miss Jerry's Atomic
Blender Show, with a gas-powered, over-the-top biker blender to spike the
interest of all at the Tiki Time on the second night.
Liberty president Frank Konigseder
lead a technical seminar with briefings about up and coming enhancements to
Liberty Coaches in coming years with even more than the "115 Reasons" to
demonstrate continuing improvements in coaches coming off the production floor
in North Chicago in coming years.
The grand finale of the rally was
the Super Sunday Mexican Fiesta, projected on a large screen for Super Fans.
But heavy metal won out after all; it was a Steel event!
Many new Liberty owners emerged
from the weekend events with bright shiny trophies to drive back home or to
distant destinations, with a memorable weekend for all in attendance.
